Dear Yolanda, dear Garry,
I could not rename the files while they where in the zipfile. Another
trick I tried was to look into the zip directory and copy the file to
real directory with norton. Did not work ;-(.  I am working with
version 2.04g of PKZIP so it may be time to get the latest version
;-).
Downloaded the version 2.5 of Pkzip and it worked.
There were no longfiles whathowever in the final result. Only very
fine jpg in the 8.3 format.
