Hello Professor (Parsonian?:). I always considered the above an
elegant solution, a simple output from mem followed by a Find w/
errorlevel test. Heard this question asked often before but can not
remember seeing any special purpose-utility suggested for this. If
I where to look for such an animal, I would probably try the many
batch utility collections (beginning with Horst S.), as well as look
for suggestions at some of the dedicated batch sites, and maybe ask
in <alt.msdos.batch> (last time I looked, a while ago, there was
someone there who seemed eager to offer "simple" assembly solutions
to assorted batch related problems). Of the top of my head, FWIW.
All the best,
Bjorn
