Some plug and play modems had an option to be used as
jumper modems. There may have been a dos set up program
for the modem. Either way you'll have to track down some of
the documentation. Do you have the manufactures name and
the model number of the modem? Do you know what chip set
it uses? If it is a "win-modem" you're probably out of luck.
