is there not some virus cataloguers about on this list?
I have encountered the netbus trojan hidden as a jpg file.
the file had the provocative name of ill bill #1.jpg<and very many spaces>
.exe and because of the extreme amount of spaces you didn't notice the .exe
at the end and double clicking to view the jpg results in activating the
virus. This can be done with ANY type of file extension followed by many
many spaces followed by the actual file extension so far off screen it
doesn't show up.
So i've saved it to floppy and renamed it to a more manageable name.
Takes advantage of the windows LFN feature to fool you! If anyone wants a
copy of this for their zoo/catalogue, i can pass it along in private.
