I think the most unfortunate part of the equation is the cost of high speed
access, not the fact that it's available.

It's worth repeating that those seeking bandwidth-light, or minimal graphics
in their web browsing share many of the concerns that portable wireless
users do. You might find some of what you're after by checking out
"Palm-Friendly" and other PDA or wireless oriented sites.

Take a look at the lists presented at:
- http://www.isilo.com/sites.htm - Some (minimal) B&W graphics, with largely
text content.
- http://members.bellatlantic.net/~blumax/plinkit/ - A much larger list
- http://foxnews.com/palm/ - (Found on the lists above) A very good news
site with bare text emphasis
