I have lately set up my old Toshiba laptop (8086 CPU) to access the
Internet with Nettamer AND DOS 3.30. No great problem, really.

Nettamer does not use (or really, cannot use) a packet driver. All you
should need for making a connection with it should be 1) DOS and 2) Nettamer.
