That was from the FAQ for those who program with DJGPP. So the answer is
that you as a user would do something like:
1. Copy the exe file into your path
Done :)
However this program will probably NOT work with QV since it wasn't written
with DJGPP (I think it's written in Watcom C but that's just a guess on my
part).

General idea here is correct. I don't know of a more general program to do
it with however.

You'll probably not succeed. I mentioned to the author that a P166 (his
lower limit from the docs) probably is a little too much (486DX2-80 makes
it just barely) to watch MPEG videos. He answered back that he hadn't been
able to get it to work without problems on a 100MHz 486's. All of this is
IIRC. I still haven't been able to pay the man for the program, it is
indeed an excellent program and he's well worth the ammount IMHO.
