I am in Win3.1 (: yet I *DO* have a list of correct font names to try and
correctly rename the font files I 'recovered' using norton UnErase - if I
can't reinstall my fonts using this method then Control Panel > Fonts >
Add ...

I will try to copy *.fot and copy *.ttf from my "back-up" computer to zip
floppy then Control Panel > Fonts > Add> Select All
