_DOS_ ! web browser. I've often used with DRDOS 7, which cold
boots
in 20-25 seconds on a 486, and arachne can dial the ISP in
another
20 or so.
IIRC, it dont have JAVA, nor SST for online transactions. but it
does
do email better than netscape or IE, more like the familiar FIDO
QWK
mail format, and of course, is immune to these windoz viruses.
Crashes less than windoz as well. dont work with a win modem.
but
then, I got a note from http://www.datalight.com that their new
ROMDOS might support winmodems, on another good dos os. free
demo.
