Hi
now that we have gotten started in Linux, decisions have to be made.
Mostly we have to decide what programs to go with. Corel's WordPerfect
is being used on the mac and win. Thus we might be tempted to at least
try out the Linux version.
Star Office is also another guess/try.
Next we have to decide on Browser. Opera is one that sounds good.
Then we have to figure out how to get rid of extras, put in the good
stuff, customize menues etc.
Basically my question is this. Where do i go to get the reviews on the
best, most used programs? What about ezines, web sites and lists?
Should i quit this list and join another?
Is the RedHat site my best bet? I found it rather too full, too cluttery
and ....er.......ahem......not clearly done.
I have been on this list for awhile and feel comfy with the people here.
