My M100 runs quite well with four AA-sized NiMH batteries (rechargable!)
for about five weeks under heavy use, and more recently, with lighter
use, these batteries have powered my M100 for well over two months.

The NiMH batteries cost more than ordinary batteries (about $15.00 US
for four of them) and take about 7 hours to charge... but that's a small
price to pay when you consider that they'll probably last the rest of
your M100's life... they can be recharged up to *600 TIMES* !!

Not only are M100's fairly easy to find, but you often see them on
auction at eBay... and, of course, you can get a *guaranteed* and
refurbished speciman from Rich Hanson himself.

There's a tremendous amount of free software for it at Rick's website,
and he's got lots of extras for it. With as much service and items
for the M100 available (even from Radio Shack... still!), you'd think
it was a modern machine.
