The only "official" thing I remember about either SURVPC list was the
netetique concet of send all the messages via ASCII 7-bit plain text
instead of using proprietary HTML encoded messages which the server
email script then converts into ASCII 7-bit plain text format.
Please shut off your HTML editor before sending messages to wither
SURVPC duiscussion list.
Your comment about "official" reminds me of why the discussion list
concept on the internet and the old BBSs are such a success: diversity.
Which can be explained as a lack of laziness or as a giant pain in the
eyeballs. Depends on which "official" version you subcribed too.
