Constant - there was a long exchange from Eko Priono and Jerry
Haumberger e.a. about this on this very list precisely two years ago,
with lots of details even on recording progs etc. I have a series of
posts from these threads saved, write if you cannot find them on the
SurvPC archive.
I have a related problem with a Toshiba laptop (recording is extremely
distorted under Linux) which I have to tackle nextly; but I would like
to use/record sound on a "pure" DOS machine too, and will go through the
whole thing soon.
One apparently important dignostic tool, "SDTEST.exe", evidently was
written by Eko himself - but at that time (Aug'99) still had a key bug.
I found one "sdtest.zip" in the earlier SurvPC archives but it will by
no way unzip (says something like, "central file list not found" or so,
am too lazy to repeat it just now):
Does someone here on the list have a working copy ????
It seems to be a rather small prog. thus easy to mail.
Please !!!
