It won't work. My son has on his old computer one of the earliest
versions of AOL for Windows 95. He still has an active AOL account.
His old computer still works and his setup data is configured
correctly for his old AOL version on his old computer. He cannot
connect even with his old Windows 95 version. His old computer
otherwise still works just fine for connecting to a real ISP with
old versions of other internet software. If you are on AOL, and you
are not running the latest and greatest, then you are SOL.
If you have an old computer and you want to be on AOL, then you will
have to do as my son did and acquire a new computer that is capable
of running the latest bloatware.
