It's official, norton antivirus for dos and windows 3.11 is no longer
available from symantec.com. I don't even know that support will continue
with virus signature updates for those customers who actually bought the
product. I tried to get some antivirus protection for this system and it
was recommended by I.B.M. to use norton antivirus for dos and windows 3.11
but when I go over to the symantec.com web site on the special link provided
to I.B.M. by symantec.com I find out the product is no longer in the
catalog. So I write a message to what passes for customer support at
symantec.com only to be told there is no support for this operating system
at symantec.com any longer. I'm glad I didn't loose any money before this
disaster happened and then lost support.
