Just when I had forgotten about him... and he's here!

Those of you who remember our frantic search a few years
ago for the "legendary" programmer, J. Anthony Borras, will
be delighted to know that he happened to find our discussion
of him and his *special* VMiX program... with some amusement
and interest.

Anyway, he wrote me the following, which I don't think he'll
mind my repeating here, since he says he's subscribed to our
SURVPC list.

So, folks... it's my pleasure to introduce Mr. Borras...!

Hi, Jerry

This is J. Anthony (Tony) Borras, the "excentic weirdo VMiX author"

I was browsing google and came across some old threads of
yours way back in 1999 where you guys wondered about the
author of VMiX-386.

BTW, Borras is Greek, not Spanish and my Fa. comes from an
island in the Mediterranean. However, you were right,
I am crazy, otherwise would never had attempted VMiX all by myself.

I am resurecting VMix-x86, this Fall.

There is a Web site at www.sysdev.org
(same as www.beta-centauri.com) and I will
be posting VMiX-x86 Version 3.0.

I acquired the sources to an old Chinese version of DOS 5.0
and I want to port it and VMiX to the new 64-bit platforms
from Intel(IA-64) and AMD(x64).

Already working on it.

YEAH, joined [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bye for now and
thanks for the memores.

J. Anthony Borras
