Hello,
Found this list most interesting and It has inspired me to root
through my collection of old 386 & 486 motherboards etc.

I dug out an old baby-AT 386sx25 and fitted a 387sx25 co-pro
recovered from another junked system. I could configure it in
the bios but POST and any software say it isnt present.

I then put the 387 onto another board with 33Mhz clock
speed...The handbook tels me I need to clock it from an external
clock and set the jumper to "asyncronous", however it all seems
to work OK setting it to syncronous, clocking it from the CPU.
Will the co-pro work reliably in this configuration? Is there
any software available to test it thogroughly?

Why didnt it work on the SX25 board? I suspect Ive probably got
a faulty board but it works OK in all other respects...

TIA
Nick
