This may be totally off the wall, let alone off topic.  But if Arachne
can use the same NIC and the same 060 whatever address as NetScape can
use, it should be possible to use the same connection/address/etc
between two different DOS programs.  And if you go into Arachne first,
then no multi-tasking would be necessary ... because of the fact that
shelling out of Arachne keeps everything the way it should be, but
totally shuts it down and free up memory.

Instructions that come with WinSock are quite simple: give it the
correct/existing vector and it will use it.

IIRC NetTamer is pretty darn configurable.

However, since Unca Dave has no intention of ever setting up NetT so
that it can run via NIC under any circumstances, I can't do any
experimenting of running back & forth between NetT and 'rach.
