The QNX demo browser requires 6M ram. It didn't recognize the modem and/or video card on my Packard Bell 486 when I tried it a few years ago. I recall people talking about using the QNX OS at work (I'm in Ottawa, where QNX is located) on pre- or early 386's, but it certainly wasn't cheap. I don't think that the recent free version of QNX will run on a low-end survpc.
