Oh, yeah, I remember many an hour typing in programs from Compute's
Gazette!, or Commodore Run magazine (I still have quite a good
collection in the storage shed ;)). The best way to do that was to
wait until a couple of issues appeared after the issue containing the
program I was interested in appeared and then look for the bug fixes
that would almost inevitably appear. It seemed to prevent a lot of
wasted typing, IIRC.
