Ben,
As I probably forgot to mention, I wasn't sure exactly WHAT the IIS server was
doing...remember, I was using an OLD version of FTP for DOS to try and log in to
my server. When I noticed that it was't only msnhomepages but a coupla others
being hosted by IIS servers which I could no longer access, I decided to try and
include the newer WATTCP protocols in the FTP interface. Whether IIS is asking
for DHCP, BOOTP, or MS or whateverthehellitis, I'm not sure to this day. What I do
know is the newer protocols in WATTCP will allow me to access my FTP host. I don't
have a packet sniffer for DOS, so can't really be more specific. I do know that other
DOS Internet apps using older WATTCP also have similar problems, and some that
use their own drivers (Minuet comes to mind) have even less success.
