It's interesting to note that a larger and larger number of people seem to
be using Linux/BSDen as enablers for getting old 8 bit systems and their ilk
up on the Internet, if for not other reason than just the hack value.

I'm still hoping to get my Apple ][+ going again someday. Based on my
experience getting my Palm handheld going via PPP to Linux, I'm quite
hopeful.
