Hmm, I vote for FoxMail 2.1 for Win9X...although I'm not sure if it "explodes" email
digests,
it's what I use instead of "LookOut Extreme" (Outlook Express) on my 486DX4 with Win95,
plus it's smaller than Communicator or Pegasus! A lot smaller! Installed files take
up less
than a meg of HD territory! I guess you could even use version 1.6, I use it in
Win3X. The
32 bit version also has "FoxMail Notifier" which runs in the System Tray, you set it
up to check
for email every however-many-minutes-you-desire...very handy! And, you can do "Remote
Mailbox", fetch just the headers of your mail, mark those you want to delete to
delete, then
get only those you want...this comes in handy in instances where you may be getting
problem emails, such as those with bad headers, or maybe a possible trojan. I normally
run Foxmail with the "Use Internet Explorer to download HTML mail" option turned off
until
I know the source of emails in HTML format. This is located in the "Tools, options,
view/read"
menu. You can also set FoxMail up for multiple email servers...all in all, it's a
great email
application, and it's free...plus, it loads in about half the time of LookOut!
