So few people go hacking around inside of context menus in windows this may
turn out to be helpful to someone.  If you get onto the msdos shortcut and
hit shift-f10 or right click it you get a context menu.  If you click on
properties and then check out the stuff in command tab you'll find that dos
mode is not checked by default in there.  If you check that, you may get
better results with programs that need real dos and you may also want to
check prevent dos programs from detecting windows too.
At least this is the case in win98se I don't know what win95 situation is
anymore since that was many years ago by now.
