Hehe,
I still have several old DOS games, circa 1991 thru about 1994, that have
as one of the actions of an "F number" key, usually F12, a quick drop to
DOS command prompt looking screen, where you could then be busy typeing
commands, checking files, looking generally busy...meanwhile your game
was paused in the background, invisible...hehe, I never did get to use them
much though...I manage the place so more or less I'm the boss! Many of
those games actually called the key the "BossKey"!
Thanks for allowing an old-timer to reminisce a bit!
