It was probably me talking about the Soss NFS server.
I uploaded a package then.  It's still there:

It think I preconfigured it for serial port networking,
but this can easily be changed to ethernet.

I use DOS TCP/IP to connect my XT to my Linux network.
Mostly NCSA telnet (to get access from the XT) and Soss
(to transfer files).  Works fine.

Which are you planning on using:  ethernet, PLIP or SLIP?
