I know a smaller method than this for DOS! Don't need to use Pegasus
for email, unless you want to, I use a couple of other mail programs
myself...besides Arachne's Insight, I also use POPMail 3.2.2, but...
when I really want to get small, hehe, I use NetMail DOS 2.12 by
Marc Ressl! This little command line mailer can be ran in "daemon"
mode, and you can set the time length to check the POP3 server for
any desired time, anyway say about an hour, maybe more. It will run
check my email every 5 minutes, then download it if I have any. The
only problem is if it does find email and it downloads it, you would
need to restart the daemon.
