Hi David,
Hi Heimo,
Hi TechW0rm,

     About "`LSPPP v1.74' and `LSICQ v1.85'" of January 6, "Modem
Connections Problems -- One Solution" of February 14, "16-Bit OS, GIFs,
eList" of February 18, "Connection Problems" of February 28, "LSPPP
v0.76x" of March 1 and "What does this mean/" of March 26:

  > ...I doubt it would be of much use except on an older system...
MS> If you're after a challenge... This post comes after i wanted to
MS> contact you about `LSPPP'... I simply want to know the status...
HC> There are indeed problems with LSppp but the author (David Lindauer)
HC> is actively working on it. ...with the built-in dialller...
HE> I'm not in any rush to start telling developers what projects they
HE> should be working on.
MS> I once had ideas for the authors of `Basic Linux' and `LSPPP' but...
MS> Please, tell me, W0rm didn't seem to be the right guy to address on
MS> this and since you seem to be in touch with the author, do you know
MS> if a couple ideas from a simple user may be of any interrest to mr.
MS> Lindauer? ...i haven't removed the `LSPPP' part from my macro yet.
HC> Michel - for the last two weeks I'm using an improved version of
HC> LSppp without any problem. I don't know if David Lindauer has set
HC> it up at his website (it identifies as "LSppp versione 0.764")...
HC> ...the author does follow this list here too. ^^^^^
MS> ...i downloaded the archives from these two links:
MS> http://members.tripod.com/~ladsoft/lsppp/LSppp.zip
MS> http://jason-n3xt.org/dos/DOWNLOAD/LSppp.zip The "File:" and
MS> "Mirror:" links are still pointing at v0.75... ...i guess he must
MS> have noticed that i was trying to make contact thru TechW0rm who is
MS> supposed to be the person who'll read our comments, questions and
MS> suggestions. ...since he's reading the present message, i'll use
MS> this fine opportunity to let David know that i put all i learned in
MS> the form of what i call "GlueWare" archives and its all his...
HC> Luckily there's LSppp now.

I'm still waiting for news about `LSPPP versione 1.764'. Anybody?!
http://members.tripod.com/~ladsoft/lsppp/LSppp.zip is still the same and
http://jason-n3xt.org/dos/DOWNLOAD/LSppp.zip was broken when i tried - a
few minutes ago. The botom-left corner of the page shows a notice which
is clear enough: "All comments, questions, suggestions and the like for
both the page and LSppp; [EMAIL PROTECTED]"... Were the request ignored
because i didn't express it to TechW0rm by ~E-Mail~? Have a nice day!!!

                            Salutations,

                            Michel Samson
