Although I don't much read SurvPC any longer, I came
across the messages regarding V0.764 in a search,
accidentally :)

I've received no emails regarding it
([EMAIL PROTECTED]), although it's possible it may
have gone out in my spam filters (on words like FREE!
and what not)....

I haven't seen David Lindauer online in awhile - maybe
he's gotten sick of my constant programming
demands...or maybe since I've learned assembly he's
decided to let me leave the nest to do all my own
programming. (he's still so far beyond me, yeash).

It's also possible that he ran off to mexico with some
fine lady or somethin', who knows :)

Anyway, I should get to the point. I've not heard of
LSppp V0.764, it's probably one of Dave's test
versions, generally he'll make fixes and send them out
to people having trouble and when it's gotten a thumbs
up it gets uploaded.

I've downloaded 0.764 from the site listed and I'll
test it out to make sure it works for me still, if so
I'll update the LadSoft homepage and my own mirror.

My site's now at http://dos.li5.org btw.

As for the fate of LSicq, that's not quite known to
me, Dave didn't sound too enthusiastic about
re-writing all the protocols last I talked to him and
I've gotten no response from the trillian developers
about sharing their source to make a port! (tough
luck for DOS, huh?)

So - good luck with your DOS internet guys, I'll be
sure to update LSppp and it's mirror if it works :)
