Hi, guys, I have received a number of subscribe attempts.
This list is managed by EZMLM (short name for the EZ Mailing List Manager). The correct format for a subscribe message to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list can be found on the EZMLM pages: * http://www.ezmlm.org/ezman-0.314/ezman1.html#ss1.3 The command is actually in the address, not the subject line, and not in the message body. The short version is this: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (which will get you a subscribe confirmation message at the sending address) or, if you want to subscribe a specific e-mail address use this format: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (this will subscribe [EMAIL PROTECTED] to the list). Really, the only tricky part is remembering that, where you would normally put an "at" sign (@) in your address, instead you use an "equals" sign (=). The reason for this is that only one (@) is allowed in e-mail addresses so if you sent your request to an address like this: [EMAIL PROTECTED]@tmonroe.com (bad) the server would choke on it and reject the request. Here are some correct examples: basic command address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (which will pretty much work for most people), and some specific address examples are ... for Mark in Clinton TWP. MI [EMAIL PROTECTED] : [EMAIL PROTECTED] for Jorge Rieznik, [EMAIL PROTECTED] : [EMAIL PROTECTED] for Robert Wittig, [EMAIL PROTECTED] : [EMAIL PROTECTED] for L.E.Golden, [EMAIL PROTECTED] : [EMAIL PROTECTED] and finally, for Carol Moon, [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] (sorry, Carol, I should have sent this sooner). (Wait -- I see a pattern emerging! The name of the list comes *before* the word subscribe! Well, I'll be ...) Please feel free to join the list and bring a friend. I'm sure sooner or later we'll find a way to sell you something ... :-) Anyone who just can't make it work may e-mail me direct at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I'll send the first request for you, and you can just reply to the subscribe confirm message that follows.
