Hi,

Don't worry it will install fine. Most programs
designed for Windows 3.1 will work in Windows 9x. In
fact I have seen Framemaker for Windows 3.1 running in
a Windows NT computer. The only drawback is that it
will be difficult to un-install if you ever want to
remove it. Win 3.1 programs usually do not have an
uninstall feature so even if you delete the program's
folder you will still have some DLL files and win.ini
and system.ini changes you will not be able to remove.

By the way, Win 9x still uses the win.ini and
system.ini files from the 3.1 version so the program
you are intalling will not modify your registry it
will modify the files I mentioned.

Cheers,

Inigo
