Recently I started having problems with NetMail DOS 2.12 by
Marc Ressl being unable to connect to my ISPs email server.
After trying a few things, along with other mail transport
agents, I finally remembered something from way back...I
renamed the WATTCP.CFG file I keep in my NETMAIL directory
to WATTCP.SFB, instead of deleting it...and NetMail once
again is connecting to my ISPs email servers. By not having
WATTCP.CFG in the NetMail directory, NetMail will then force
itself to use BOOTP. So, if others are having problems with
NetMail or other WATTCP DOS Internet applications, and you
too have a WATTCP.CFG file in the app's directory, try re-
naming the file. Then run the app and see if you can force
it to use BOOTP.
