Hello All -

For those aware of the "Oberon saga":

I've given up on ETH Oberon. The newest Native/Alpha
release is even more user-hostile to install than the
Beta was after my repeated suggestions that Beta was
going to discourage new users of Oberon. :-\

Seems PhD types don't really care what a non-PhD type
thinks and honestly I suspect they goofed up the install
just to annoy me.

If you're wondering, yes I did install Alpha in spite of
their nonsense. I just doubt many others would find the
"clues" to be able to install Native/Alpha without either
trashing their existing setup or wanting to hit someone.
I've deleted ALL versions of ETH Oberon Native here on
my systems. I do have Linz Oberon V4 and a W31 version
of Oberon but will probably removed the W31 Oberon since
it's of little use to me without Native Oberon.

I've dropped the ETH Oberon elist and another elist that
was a bit too chatty/cutesy for my tastes.

The good news is I will have more free time for BasicLinux
now. :-)
