Hello List!
Just a quick message to let everyone know that I have
uploaded the installer file for WinZip 6 for Win3X
to the public FTP site at tmonroe.com. This is the
30 day trial, shareware release, but it will still
function past the 30 day limit, it pops up a reminder
box to register your copy. The installer is inside
a self-extracting executable file, WINZIP31.EXE.
The plain text file WINZIP31.TXT contains information.
Place this archive into an empty directory, then
using File Manager, double click on it with the
cursor to begin installation. Alternatively, you
can run the executable by using Program Manager's
"File, Run" dialogue, or if using Calmira you can
use either Calmira Explorer or the Run command
from the Start menu.
To download the software, fire up your FTP client,
open a connection to the tmonroe server, which
is ftp.tmonroe.com, when asked for username, use
public, and when asked for password, use public.
While visiting the public FTP site at tmonroe.com,
check out the other software that users have placed
there for download. I have uploaded several files
myself, some my own, most other peoples. There is
Norton Antivirus, both a DOS/Win3X 16 bit and a
Win9X 32 bit version. If anyone has any requests
just send a message to the list and someone in
our community may have or know someone with the
requested software!
