Thanks for the input.  I had a look at that page and
followed some links.  Skipstone looked promising, but
it seems to have died.

Another one with potential.

That could be a problem.  I only have limited web space
-- not enough to store large binaries for downloading.

That is a huge chunk of source code.  Not the sort
of job I enjoy doing on my P166 with 540mb HD.

If a binary is available somewhere, then yes it's worth
a look.  But I'm not enthusiastic about hacking on a
huge chunk of source code.
