I downloaded and tried it. It works great! Also the user interface
looks very good because of the very nice work you have done with the
ansi colors.

Another very nice feature your program has is the IP logging. Your very
simple way of providing this feature was brilliant.

I have modified it several ways to suit myself. One very nice thing
about your program is that it lends itself so well to modification to
suit the user.

Here is a description of three modifications I have made:

1. Instead of loading ANSI.SYS in CONFIG.SYS I load the freeware
utility ANSI.COM at the top of the batch file. I unload the ansi
driver at the end of the batch file by adding the line "ansi /u".
I prefer ANSI.COM over ANSI.SYS because ANSI.COM may be loaded and
unloaded at the command line at any time.

2. Also I have modified it to use LSPPP in combo with COMTOOL instead
of using EPPPD. LSPPP will also dial and connect with most modems,
but not with some modems. For those modems whose dial and connect
functions will not work with LSPPP, I have found that LSPPP will work
for logging in and loading the packet driver after I have dialed in by
    using COMTOOL.

3. For the IP logging I have added a line to run a TIMEDATE.EXE program
to direct its output to append to IP.LOG immediately after logging
in and immediately after disconnecting, as in "TIMEDATE >> IP.LOG"
Now my IP.LOG file reflects also the date time group (DTG) of all the
    logins and logouts.

Alejandro, you have done some very nice work. Thanks for providing your
program for us.
