The official 2.0 version went out on Friday.

It's over. :-)

BL2-00.ZIP is BasicLinux 2.00. I've added a second digit
behind the point for minor fixes (eg. 2.01 will be a small
change, 2.1 will be a big change).

The BL2 zip is done. There are no changes imminent.
What I am working on now is instructions (to go on the BL2 site)
for installling various packages (including X). As I said in a
previous message, I have successfully installed manpages, X and
flwriter on BL2. It's just a matter of writing up the step-by-
step. I think I may also release a small (optional) package for
X that installs a pre-configured icewm and default settings for
VGA. This should all be done in the next week or two.

Remember that all the BL1 documentation and add-ons developed
gradually over a two-year period. It's going to take a wee
while to get BL2 up to that level.

Cheers,
Steven
