Ok. On this survpc system (P90 64MB RAM) Phonenix takes 30.9% of RAM when running with 2 tabs open. Size in memory is about 19205. Opera, on the other hand, takes only 23.4% of memory, and occupies about 14464 with 2 tabs open. Phoenix looks like it would be the death of my 486 with only 20MB RAM. Opera would be slightly better, in theory, on that machine. Was this helpful at all? Well, at least I learned how to determine program memory usage conducting the exercise.
