There is a mini _install_ of a Slackv8.1 hack mentioned and since
it is mentioned on a 'BasicLinux' webpage I count that as another
version.

Most developers continue to offer the previous version as
'stable' and the newer version (some offer a beta).

Point being when I found broken links I immediately emailed the
appropriate webmaster of the page where I found the breaks.
The comment "Steven removed ..." is not mine but your associate
who is now maintaining the website for previous versions of BL.
