Charles,
This is exactly the same thing I asked of you last year.
Instead of linking directly to files on someone elses' website,
just link to the page. I don't know how many people told me
I had a "bad link, file not found" on your page when you had
a link to WizLynx there. I asked you to just link to my page,
as I had done yours. My web host, as the majority do (and,
rightfully so I would add) does NOT allow links to files on
their servers from outside sites. That is a "No no", and was
once used to circumvent security measures. Steven is simply
asking that you correctly link only to his web site. How
something such as this could "alienate" anyone is puzzing to
me. In my opinion, the courteous thing to do would just be
point your page visitors to the source of the various files
you reference, UNLESS, you actually host the download files
on your web server.
