>From the shell, you can use spaces in file names by 'escaping' the space (or
any of a variety of other special characters -- * and ? for instance) with a
backslash.  You can also include the entire filename in quotes; so, these two
commands are equivalent:

$ touch my\ filename\ with\ spaces.txt
$ touch "my filename with spaces.txt"
$ touch 'my filename with spaces.txt'

[There are some differences between the meaning of single and double quotes,
but usually you don't need to worry about them -- if in doubt, use the single
quotes, since that escapes _everything_, including $VARIABLES.]

You ought to be able to use one or more of these with pine; if you're passing a
filename in on the command line, any of them will work.  From within pine
itself, I'm not sure; give them each a shot and see what happens.
