You can use a larger hard drive and IF your system cannot read the larger
size it will use the 525 regardless.  You don't have to nail down exactly
525meg for the hard drive. :-)

For just the OS probably 5-10meg tops.  I have a rather complete install
here of
W311 and two mini-Linux that occupy a total of a 450meg.

Look inside the computer and follow the ribbon cable (wide, you'll know it when
you see it) from the hard drive to whatever it is connected to then write and
tell the rest of us what that 'something' is. :-)

Microsoft still had some information re:drivespace at their knowledgebase
website not long ago.  I read it while doing my W31 on a disk project to see
it could compress a ramdisk.
