DOS does more & better from the command line on those LL> machines & I see no pressing reason to change. I don't see it as an 'either - or' issue. I currently have machines running DOS, Windows (3.1 for workgroups), 95, 98se, NT (workstation and server), OS/2, Linux Red Hat 7, and FreeBSD 4.8. Each has something about it that I like... and programs that won't run on the other OS's. DOS is nice on a personal computer, but I don't know if I would want to try using it on a server, on a workstation that had multiple processors. -wittig http://www.robertwittig.com/ -weblog http://radio.weblogs.com/0128450/ A business is as honest as its advertisements.
