They are very technically competent, but they are far more interested in the production of video, both as consumers, and as creators. Nevertheless, since I live in the Ozarks, most of the young people I know are second generation hippy. The young women read the Tarot more than other forms of paper, and the young men spend all their time on 3D video games. I hear them talk about what they can do with games and computers, but I never hear them speak of the books they have read.
