I'm not aware of anything to specifically reset the password, but at the very least you can recover data off of the drive prior to re-install. THere are tools for DOS and Linux, both of which I've used, to successfully READ data from NTFS (XP incl.) partitions. LNX-BBC and Knoppix bootable CDs work fine. - Bob
