Most of the gimp crashes on XFree86-3.3.3-3 (see my earlier postings with this
package name in the subject field, and all replies) appear to be due to a
problem with calls to memory management routines in the gtk libraries.
I am in the process of compiling a detailed summary of all similar bug reports
appearing on this list; it should be ready for submission to SuSE and XFree86
people by tomorrow.
