I finally found the missing libraries (thanks to Andy Ford!), I needed in order to compile my kernel. I modified the .config file to provide ppp support, rather than as a loadable module. I compile a new kernel and have it running in my system. However, when I run pppd, I still get the message saying my kernel does not support PPP. HELP!!, What am I missing? Does anybody knows where the ppp modules are located?
