Jim,
BinHex is the mac's equivalent of uuencode, to send binary files by
mail. I have a bit of doco on it in "compress":
The most recent copy of this text may be anonymous ftp'd from
ftp.cso.uiuc.edu (128.174.5.14) in the directory /pub/doc/pcnet as
the file compression.
You can access it with the following URL:
ftp://ftp.cso.uiuc.edu/pub/doc/pcnet/compression
If I am reading it right, you want mcvert to handle it, and can
get it at:
D. sumex-aim.stanford.edu [36.44.0.6]
/info-mac/cmp/ {Stuffit Lite, Compactor Pro, etc.}
/unix/ {unsit, mcvert}
* info-mac archive is mirrored on ftp.uu.net:/systems/mac/info-mac,
wuarchive.wustl.edu:/systems/mac/info-mac,
and mrcnext.cso.uiuc.edu:/pub/info-mac
Cheers!
Lawson
