This is a bit off-topic, but I was wondering about licensing issues
surrounding the use of login.exe and map.exe with the program.
The situation is this-- I just got a new job where I'm running a
couple of NetWare servers on the network and want to set up a set
of Winblows(tm) disk images (using Ghost) to reinstall Windohs
when it breaks. There's not enough room on the existing NetWare
servers, and there's an old P-90 fileserver gathering dust in my
office, so I thought I'd use it as a dedicated image, driver, etc.,
server.
Now, what's with the licensing? The docs said I need to use
login.exe, map.exe and a couple of other NetWare executables.
I'm going to be the only person using it, and I probably won't be
logged in for more than 2 sessions at a time.
Any advice would be appreciated. I would prefer using free
software i.e.; Samba, but there doesn't seem to be a client that
would allow me to run Ghost from a DOS prompt.
Thanks in advance,
Dennis Soper
