alright, i'm apparantly being particularly dense about something, and i hope
someone can point me in the right direction.
i'm trying to setup a lan with two machines, tyre and illium, with ip addresses
192.168.2.1 and .2, respectively.
however, for the life of me, i can't find the documentation which will give me
a simple answer about making these two machines talk to each other. i'd like to
eventually use one machine as a gateway, but at the moment, i'd just be happy
if i could get the lan up.
the network cards appear to be able to ping themselves, but when i try to ping
the other machine, i get 'network unreachable.' where're the docs which tell me
if/what server i need to start, etc.
any help appreciated.
